Kat is the absolute best! Our very anxious girl Presley has been taking strides with loose leash walking and reactivity. We’re even slowly adding people that she’s comfortable around… without Kat this wouldn’t have been possible! She’s professional, personable, and reliable. Presley loves her and with each visit and recommendation from Kat she is growing into a less anxious pup. Not to mention she helps me balance my 9 month old and puppy each session 😂 Thank you, Kat!

I came to Kat as a very nervous first time mini pig owner. I had also never worked with a private trainer before. She has made the experience of training utterly delightful. My pig, McCartney, adores her lessons and eagerly absorbs everything that she says. Kat has been extremely thorough every step of the way, consulting colleagues to make sure she is using the correct and most advanced training methods for my pig. She is patient, kind, and uses only positive reinforcement. My entire family has become engaged in the training efforts. She is also planning to help me train my dog in the future as we incorporate the dog and the pig together. I could not recommend Kat more. She would be your dream trainer for any animal!

Kat is hands down the best trainer around. I have a 4 yr old rottie named Clementine who has significant anxiety that presents as aggression. We had worked with two other trainers in the past 2 years and if anything those trainers made the aggression worse. We have been working with Kat for several months now and have seen so much improvement. Kat is patient, knowledgeable, and explains everything so that I can understand why certain things didn’t work in the past and how to work with Clementine with positive reinforcement instead of corrections. Today we’re able to go to veterinary office where Clementine was vaccinated without being significantly traumatized by the experience by using Kat’s cooperative care training. This is the first time in Clementine’s life that she had a positive experience at the vet. I feel such relief and Clementine is peaceful and happy. I can’t thank Kat enough for all that she has done to help us.

Kat has turned my rescue hound pup (who was 4 years old when we adopted her) from an anxious, fearful and reactive dog to a loving, centered, happy dog. Kat is a brilliant trainer- good at prioritizing skill building for the most challenging behaviors first. She also identified some subtle triggers that I would never have noticed.
