Indy K-9

My husband and I are "seniors" not in mind yet physically we found ourselves with an active dachshund puppy. We had lost two of our beloved pets this year and missed the company. We found that this pup won our hearts and we also found he was "running" the household. After the pandemic, I was prescribed 02 and one of his fun things to do was to chew through the tubing. I researched many dog trainers and through that quest I found Indy K-9. I am so HAPPY I did. We signed up for the 4-week training. Last Sunday, we picked up our 8-month dachshund and he is a joy to be around. He listens to all of the commands and responds in kind. It is remarkable how well-behaved he is. I saw the videos of Jon walking and training my pup and his tail is constantly wagging...he obviously loves his training and the trainer! I highly recommend Jon and hope when we need to be out of town I can board my buddy with someone who cares!!

Indy K-9 did an excellent job looking after Tilly while my wife and I were on vacation. Before the board and train, our puppy had a couple of annoying behaviors (nipping, laundry surfing, jumping, and bad leash manners). When we picked her up, we took her on a flawless 20 minute heel walk without issue. We definitely feel much better equipped to keep our puppy safe while also letting her still be a puppy. Would recommend to anyone!

We were absolutely blown away by how much progress our dog made after working with Jonathan for a month. Before this training our dog would jump on people, surf the counters, and bark incessantly when left alone. He liked to chew and eat everything and didn’t listen to our commands. Now he responds to our commands and knows what is expected of him. Our first day after picking him up from training a stranger made a comment about how well-behaved he was. Words I never thought I would hear! Jonathan is so knowledgeable and really ensures you feel confident continuing the training at home. Would highly recommend Indy K-9!
