Heather has dog sit for us when we were away, and for the past 18 months has been training our dogs, especially Badger, our "covid puppy" Akita who missed out on crucial socialization time during the lock down. She is incredibly patient and it's been amazing to see the difference in him. All our dogs are happy to see Heather arrive and I never worry when they are under her care. If I could rate her with 10 stars I would!
Heather is an exceptional trainer. She is credentialed and has a passion for working with dogs and their people. She makes training fun! I highly recommend Influential K9.

I enrolled my guy Bo in a 4-week board and train program with Influential K9 to work on dog reactivity, and the results have been incredible. I have tried other trainers before but they did not possess the patience and technique that Heather does. Not only did Bo make huge progress with reactivity, but by the end of the program Bo passed both the Canine Good Citizen Advanced (CGCA) and Canine Good Citizen Urban (CGCU) tests. That alone speaks volumes about the level of training and structure provided. The communication throughout the four weeks was excellent. We received several updates and videos everyday. On pick up day clear guidance was given on how to maintain the progress at home. When we came home, the transition was smooth because I felt prepared and confident. Heather still checks in with us a few times a week to make sure we are on the right path for success. Bo is now calmer, more focused, and reliable in real-world situations. I am beyond grateful for the transformation and highly recommend this board and train program or any training class she offers to anyone struggling with reactivity or looking for advanced obedience training. Bo and I are excited to get back into dog sports and buckle up for our next adventure!
