Innovative K9 Academy

Deciding who to trust your dogs with is a big decision, and I'm glad we decided to trust Innovative K9. The whole team is authentic, straightforward, and kind. Our brother sister Shiba Inu's received a great foundation of training and obedience. They were leash pullers and reactive (each in their own way) to other dogs. They are still less than a year old and have work to do, but the foundation is there. Both the dogs and I have an expectation of behavior. I now have a method of clear communication with the dogs that is effective and healthy. Plus, we now have a place we can trust to board them while we are away. Overall, great experience!

Absolutely surpassed expectations and is worth every penny. We adopted a rescue German Shepard mix from Moab and were quickly in over our heads. Pippen was terrified of everything in the city— he wouldn’t walk around the block without extreme anxiety. His fear led to increasing aggression towards people and dogs. We were completely at our limit and totally lost when we brought him to Innovative for a board and train. The team helped him gain confidence in ways we never could have dreamed of! Before innovative, Pippen had been bit as a puppy and was always terrified of other dogs. Today, he has made dog friends and is EXCITED to show up to group classes at liberty park, a place that used to terrify him! He’s unrecognizable from the dog we adopted and is living a much more comfortable and confident life. We will continue to board him here whenever we get the chance because he continues to flourish with every stay. Thank you Innovative! Update: a year and a half after his initial boarding we continue to be blown away by the impact this training had on Pippen’s life. The dog who once lunged and snarled at dogs on sight now only wants to play with every dog he sees. If you have a difficult, anxious, or aggressive dog this place will change your life! We have loved working with Innovative K9! Everyone on their staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Our little pup has made massive improvements going through the puppy program and we can’t thank Innovative K9 enough! Joe has been our main point of contact and has been so gracious with his time - we can text him any time with any issues we are having and he immediately gives us some ways we can fix it! Can’t recommend these guys enough!
