FirstBarkI enjoyed working with Poppy @ Instinct Dog Training. She came with a lot of great ideas and techniques for my dog Sienna. Sienna had huge night time fright episodes. With the right medication and training Sienna now has the ability to self calm.

Taylor has been helping us work through our new rescue's anxiety and reactivity issues. We were almost ready to return him, but I"m glad we didn't! Now we have better understanding and some tools to help him adjust and help us figure out strategies to best integrate him into our household. Much appreciated!
Instinct was recommended by my dogās veterinarian. We worked with Poppy and couldnāt be happier with our experience. Poppy is very observant and provided me with valuable feedback that helped me understand my dogās behaviors as well as my own shortcomings. Just after two sessions, several neighbors commented on a noticeable difference in my shy guyās demeanor.
Kirah has been a huge help to us in working with our very reactive dog. She is has a wealth of knowledge and hands on experience with dogs like ours and has trained us as much as our dog! Highly recommend!

My Belgian MalinoisāGerman Shepherd dog and I worked with Poppy for about 6 months. I cannot recommend Poppy and Instinct enough! My pup has been dealing with reactivity towards strangers and dogs since I rescued her. Since our time spent with Poppy, I have had family and friends tell me she is a completely different dog. Poppy was incredibly patient with us and very attentive (plus my pup absolutely loved her). She aimed to understand our goals, ensured they were realistic for us and and helped us make great strides towards them. I also very much appreciated how empathetic and kind Poppy was when offering feedback. I learned a lot of effective strategies and tactics to help redirect my dog and give her alternative behaviors to choose. Poppy was right there with us celebrating every little milestone along the way. :) We are both now significantly more relaxed when we go out into the world. Poppy truly had an impact on our day-to-day life.
