I can’t say enough good things about Steve and the work he did with Kairo. Before training, Kairo had so much energy that he was basically bouncing off the walls all day. He could never stay still, and because he was constantly bothering our older dog, the older dog was always having to correct him. It was starting to create problems between them and made it hard for everyone in the house to relax. The difference since getting Kairo back is honestly night and day. He’s still the same happy, energetic dog, but now he knows how to control that energy. When we come inside, he immediately goes straight to his bed, lays down, and stays there until he’s told he can get up. On walks, he stays right next to me instead of pulling or trying to go wherever he wants, and his recall has gotten incredibly good. He listens, pays attention, and actually understands what’s expected of him. Steve did an amazing job. What impressed me most is that he doesn’t just teach dogs commands - he really understands dog behavior and psychology and knows how to communicate with them in a way that makes sense to the dog. You can see that in Kairo because he didn’t come home like a different dog or with his personality taken away. He came home as a much more educated, disciplined, and balanced version of himself. If you have a high-energy dog and want someone who genuinely understands dogs and knows what he’s doing, I highly recommend Steve. The results with Kairo speak for themselves.
