FirstBarkSteve has trained 2 of my dogs. His experience really showed. He develops the dog's understanding, not just recognition of commands. In addition, he takes the time to train us as well, ensuring that we know how to set the dog up for success. Overall, thanks to Steve's methods I have a better relationship with my dogs and they actively want to obey and listen because it is fun for them now.

On each visit Athena had learned more, was more obedient, and responded instantly to commands. We were blown away with the results. Steve is easy to work with and truly an experienced pro. Steve did a great job on our Gemma, 4 month old doberman puppy. We will be taking her back for more advanced training in October.
Steve is a wonderful trainer, very knowledgeable and knows the dog. He cares about the dogs training and educates the people on everything. He has come to our house when we needed a little extra help so very nice of him. He will also keep the dog longer if he feels it needs extra attention. I would recommend Steve in a heart beat to train any breed of dog.
