My 8 month old GSP, Odin, attended the 4 week off-leash board and train program. My pup came in unsure of how to navigate the world. He decided to teach himself, which led him down a path of behaviors I found to be less efficient in my daily life. Joe, and the other trainers, taught Odin to look for guidance, in all areas. I was afraid his personality would be blasted out of him, but instead they are exemplified in a framework I set for him, not the other way around. Every day since picking Odin up has been tremendously enjoyable and positive without leash pulling, counter surfing, and invasion of personal space. I am incredibly grateful for the impressive trainers and have full trust in them, as they show up daily to support, guide, and build confidence in every dog that steps paw in their door. The J. Wells Kennels team teaches how to properly communicate with your pup, establishing you as their mentor to help them succeed in every environment. I highly recommend J. I have a young German Shorthair that I had started on birds but she seemed to need some extra help in some aspects of her training. A friend of mine told me about J Wells Kennels so I scheduled a session with them and it was the best thing we could have done! Everyone at the kennel was very friendly and helpful and Jordan and Joe were both amazing to work with. We did private sessions and learned a lot not only about her bird training, but her behavior and obedience as well which has really made a difference with her mindset overall. We will be going back for further training and I can't recommend them enough!

Our first encounter with J. Wells started after an exhausting two year long quest for quality dog food for a dog with severe food allergies. From our very first visit to simply pick up a bag of dog food we were instantly impressed! A year later and we now have two dogs that have attended training at their beautiful facility! It truly doesn’t matter what age the dog (we went with a puppy and our three year old), you will not be disappointed! Not only has the training helped our dogs but also educated our family as pet owners. One of our two dogs had his first “sleep over camp” while we were away on vacation. We had such ease of mind knowing he was so very well cared for. We can’t give Jordan and his amazing team enough praise!
