I have both boarded my dog and hired J. Wells for training. Their facility is top notch. It is the best kennel I have ever visited in my 25 years of dog ownership. Their Method is second to none - delivering instantaneous changes and improvements. I have worked with other trainers and behaviorists who didn't get it. They tried for weeks and months to reform my dog's behavior or focused on inconsequential "tricks." J. Wells is no nonsense. They get it done while being respectful to the dog and its owner. I am so grateful to have found them.

In my opinion, this is the premiere dog boarding option within distance of NYC. We usually board Mooney at a spot in the city, but for a longer trip we wanted him to have room to stretch his legs as well as the opportunity to be around stable dogs and a calm environment. JWells delivered — Mooney came back from camp noticeably calmer, happy, tired from plenty of exercise, and delightfully clean. Shuttle service was on time, friendly and professional (thanks James!) and afterwards we got a helpful run down of Mooney’s behavior at camp (thanks Jamie!)—including both what he did well and what we can work on with him. We couldn’t be happier and are looking forward to our next opportunity to board Mooney with JWells Kennels.

I wish we had known sooner! The Method is magical! We see a big difference in training since we started with our 2 GSP’S. What a transformation for us as we learned it’s the handler too! We HIGHLY RECOMMEND as we started later with our 1st dog and the pup we started in the puppy development. We will be moving forward to the next program. They are there to support us and help as needed. A wonderful family business! I can’t praise them enough!
