Janice Z Dog Training

We just finished a 6-week training program with Janice for our Bernese Mountain Dog puppy, Kahlo, and it was such a positive experience. Not only did Kahlo learn so much, we did too! Janice’s approach is thoughtful, encouraging, and easy to apply in real life. She helped our whole family get on the same page and “speak the same language” when training, which made a huge difference. We’ve continued to see success with Kahlo’s behavior since finishing the program, and we’re so grateful for the tools she gave us. Highly recommend!

We had an excellent experience with Janice Z Dog Training. We gained lots of good behavioral insights and learned several training procedures that keep us training our dog ourselves now that our sessions have concluded. Janice Z addressed our specific issues we have with our puppy and offered training solutions. Having the training sessions in our dogs home environment was extremely beneficial for our puppy's specific issues.

Janice to the rescue! When we first started training with Janice we were in desperate need of help with our boy Charlie. He was very anxious and scared when meeting new people and it was becoming harder and harder for us to manage his overall anxiety. However through Janice’s patience and expertise we learned how to manage Charlie’s anxiety. Through training and a little anxiety medication, we all learned how to introduce him to new people, and get his overall attention on us as opposed to the outside scary world. She gave us many tips and tools to use and most importantly gave us a deeper understanding of his fear based behavior. She not only taught Charlie some new behaviors, but she also taught us how to make better decisions that enabled us to provide him with a relaxing, less stressful environment. She brushed up on his recall, did some crate training, leash walking on the road, and worked with his sister Lucy as well. And I’m proud to say that their behavior has vastly improved, their recall is impeccable, and everyone is leading a happier life. I can’t recommend Janice enough, we are forever grateful for the time she spent with our family.
