I want to give a big THANK YOU to Matt at Jersey Shore Dogs!! I have just retired and got a Havanesse named Tucker. This was my first puppy! I read all the books, wathched all the videos, but when I picked up Tucker I was stumped. I found Jesery Shore Dogs online. I read all the reviews and called Matt. It has been a match made in heaven. Matt was great with Tucker but more importanly he taught me so much. He is so open to any questions, you can email him anytime, & send a video of your dog if need be! It is such a great experience working with Matt. I highly recommend him! I found a diamond in the middle of the sand at the shore! ! Do not hesitate to book Jersey Shore Dogs!
Matt is a great trainer and a better person. He understands that he needs to train dog owners as much as dogs. I learned a lot from Matt which has really helped me give my dog what he needs.

Melissa was amazing with my Siberian Husky puppy, Kata. After one session I felt confident to train my dog because Melissa showed me what to do and trained me as well as the dog. After one session Kata could sit, lay down and stay. 2 sessions in Kata was waiting ✋ and leaving anything I didn't want her to touch. After my third and final session I was comfortable recalling Kata when outside and on long leash. Fingers crossed 🤞 that it will continue to work off-leash one day. Melissa also checks up on Kata well after our sessions have past which is very attentive and appreciated! Highly recommended.
