Jersey Shore Dogs Dog Training

Not happy with what we got for the cost. Our first session was great, but after that it became a struggle to get follow up sessions scheduled. We ended up finding another behaviorist whose approach was much more effective at mitigating our dog’s behavioral issues, and actually followed up with us regularly to check in and see how we were doing. My suggestion to anyone using this service is make sure that you get all your follow up visits scheduled at the time of payment, or break up the cost to match the service dates.

I would highly recommend JSD!!! Matt was phenomenal!! I would have gotten Matt years ago for my other dog if I knew he was around at the time. He was very patient & very informative about dogs, their instincts. Something I would have never have thought after having numerous dogs. I thought my dog was acting out "snapping " because she was becoming "vicious ". She's a mix, so not sure if she has pit in her. I didn't believe this because it seemed to be happening in certain situations......otherwise she's a big, mushy, lovable, scaredy cat. Matt showed us ways to deal with her nervous energy & showed us ways to help her with that. There was no rush with Matt, he took his time with Bindi & us. Very down to earth & comfortable to interact with & Bindi loves him!! We can't wait to see the positive results that will come out of Bindi & are looking forward for our next visit with Matt to show him how Bindi is progressing with her training. Thank you Matt for reinforcing that there's no need to get "rid" of my dog. You are one in a million!!! ❤

I reached out to Jersey Shore Dog Training when we decided to adopt a dog and bring them into our home with our existing dog. Matt responded within the day and spent over an hour on the phone walking me through a plan to bring our new pup home. We game planned a strategy and he made himself available 24/7 for any questions - or talking me off a ledge! This was all 2 weeks prior to when I would pay him OR meet him for the first time. In the end the adoption fell through - but we will try again and 100% work with Matt & his Jersey Shore team. Thanks Matt!

Can’t say enough wonderful things about jersey shore dogs!!! Melissa was wonderful. She taught me so many helpful training techniques to use on my Barkley who is now 9 months old and thriving! Melissa gave us so many great tips on potty training and basic commands! She also gave detailed homework which I followed and Barkley now knows many commands and I also was able to teach him more and more! I would have been lost without their help! Also always easy to get a hold of them! Thanks again!!
