Jet Set University

I am totally impressed- I’ve had and trained many dogs and horses and children and thought I could train our 1.3 year old golden retriever. I was flummoxed— completely at a loss as to how to train this dog. Someone recommended JET SET and I signed up immediately for their most comprehensive program- our dog is now a dream girl - she’s perfect in every way- I am in awe of the complete transformation. Everyone is much happier — mostly our beautiful golden retriever!

Jet Set University was highly recommended by a friend when we were on the hunt for major help with our toy Australian Shepherd puppy. We toured the facility and had all of our questions answered prior to starting the training program. We did the four week board and train program and worked directly with Chanin and Shantel. We had the most phenomenal experience and will forever and always recommend Jet Set University to anyone looking for expert help. The knowledge these ladies poured into our adorable puppy and into us was nothing short of a blessing. We (Titan and us) learned so much and it has made everything work seamlessly at home. The skills that they taught Titan is so impressive and easy to uphold at home. The follow through with ensuring everything is still going great after Titan's successful graduation from the program has been extremely helpful. To know I have support with Titan moving forward gives me so much peace of mind. They truly are experts of their craft and always willing to help, offer advice, answer questions, and all around supportive. We absolutely love Jet Set University and would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking for training and support. A huge thank you to Chanin and Shantel for being so wonderful! Brought my rescue who had a rough past and was scared of the world to jet set .. we were having challenges with her constantly on guard.. Lilli was my dogs trainer and was amazing! While Remi stayed in training she would give me updates on her progress. Once I got my dog home Lilli was always responsive to any texts and questions i had on situations I was unsure of. My dog is so much more confident in the world and so am I bringing her thanks to Jet Set U and all the hard work Lilli did for my sweet Remi. I cant thank them enough or recommend them enough. If your dog needs training I highly recommend them! They are the best!!!

Writing this review 9 months after our dog completed the 4-week board and train program. The trainers are very competent. Clearly capable in training the commands promised and many months later our boy continued to follow these commands as long as our execution was correct alongside the e-collar. However, our Vizsla came back in a pretty fragile state - he looked gaunt, lost significant muscle mass, visibly aged and had quarter-sized wounds on both his front wrists from anxiety licking. When we brought these issues up they were brushed off as normal. But that was not our dog and we would have greatly appreciated more transparent updates about his health, then would have pulled him out early. His immune system was also heavily affected and he had been diagnosed with pneumonia 4 days after coming home, which took 2.5 months to recover from. On two occasions we had conflicting messages from the staff. Once saying I would get a tour of the facility, and another saying that’s not allowed. A second time, we had come on a Sunday to drop off supplies and someone said there was no one there over the weekend to train only to let the dogs out morning and evening, which would be terrible if this is true and not disclosed. When asked, they said this wasn't true and apologized... This may be a good option for some dogs at certain life stages but I think there is a lack of discernment and education on which dogs should board and train and when the extremely overstimulating environment (made apparent from the report card videos) may be too stressful.

I used a different service before, and was sadly let down with lack of consistency, and a negative training process for the pup. This is very positive and I’m very comfortable going through what they recommend to me in terms of training, correction, praise, and an overall happy doggy! In fact, I have two happy doggies! They’ve gone above and beyond for me and my family and have remained accessible, and I know they will continue to be in the future! If you’re questioning whether the cost is worth it, question no more because I would spend it again in a heartbeat.
