Joey Luke's Dog Training

Thank you Joey Luke's dog training. We rescued 2 dogs, Odin and Freya .After dropping off our 2 fur-babies for Joey Luke's 3 week board and train - they are night and day difference!!! Note: we dropped them off the day before our wedding, and they were so great that Joey Luke drove both of the dogs up to our church on our wedding day so that we could get wedding photos taken with them. Tell me what other dog trainer would take the time out of their busy schedule to do that. This right here was amazing!!!!!! Back in June, Freya was your normal 6 month old puppy full of energy who needed obedience and structure. We just couldn’t get a handle on her drive, she wouldn’t listen without a treat, and she thought she could take control of the household, despite her older 5 year old brother. She would always bite him and nag at him. She was chewing everything she could get her paws on in our house. She always jumped on everyone that walked in our house, including myself and my husband. Odin was a 5 year old who had a horrible abusive past and because of it, he had horrible anxiety. Odin was very protective of our family and our home, so when people entered into our house he became overwhelmed. He had many triggers that set off his anxiety, such as car rides, loud noises, and other dogs coming up towards us during walks or just being out in public. He is a 80 LB brindle pit and I was not able to take him for walks because he was too strong and would pull me on the ground. He did not listen. He dug and tore apart our couch due to insecurity and abandonment issues. If we left him in a crate, he tore off the metal and destroyed it. He was scared all of the time. Freya is more calm and now listens to commands without treats. She stopped chewing our furniture and clothing. She still likes to play with Odin, but when Odin gives her the hint that he has had enough, she actually listens and stops. She does not jump anymore either. She still has a lot of growing to do, but with Joey Luke's training, everyone has noticed how much better behaved she is now. Odin came back a completely well behaved dog. I can now take him on walks myself without him pulling me down the driveway. He loves car rides, he does not scare people off who come into our home, and he listens so well. If you saw Odin today, you wouldn't expect any of those concerns in his history. He is basically a 80 LB lap dog who loves to get his belly rubbed. He actually trusts people now opposed to being anxious and guarded. He is so lovable now. We can't even express how much gratitude we have for all your hard work with our 2 rescues. We have a good natured Great Dane but he is very rambunctious. He has never enjoyed listening and would much rather do his own thing. He pulled on walks and was very distracted by all the world has to offer. We had tried other training with treats but since he lacks any sort of food motivation it wasn’t working very well. We decided to try Joey Luke’s 3-week board and train hoping for some new training tools that worked for us. Our dog has only been home for a week but we are already seeing improvement. He pays better attention to us and listens to our commands, often on the first try. He is much more focused on walks and rarely pulls. We (as dog parents) still have more work to do but they gave us a great foundation to work off. They are also always available for questions and they respond very quickly. So far we have had a great experience and have seen wonderful results.

Me and my fiancé took our 10 month old American water spaniel to Joey luke for his resource guarding issues. Odie would guard his food/water bowl, toys, crates, and even areas of the house. Joey Luke was our last resort because odies guarding was dangerous, he would tend to bite and growl and almost have panic attacks over being corrected. We were a bit skeptical about Joey Luke because we luv done other training programs with not much success. After the three week board (and a few extra days) Odie was a changed dog. He no longer guards things and his over all obedience has improved so much ! Would highly recommend Joey Luke !

My dog Fender was having issues with not coming when called and also jumping on guests who came over, basically not listening to my commands. After going through the board and train with Joey he is a whole new dog. Fender now listens to every command of mine. He looks at me for direction and is an all around obedient dog now. Its now enjoyable to bring him around people and other dogs. This has made our relationship a million times better. Joey was always there to answer any of my questions and very patient with me and Fender. I am so Happy with this training and want to recommend it to anyone who is having issues with their dog.
