Hello, do you do dog aggression training (against) and do you do home visits? I have a 1 year old pit mix that needs training. Evaluation says reactive and needs impulse training, evaluated by a very highly respected professional.

My wife and I put our two dogs into Joey's board and train program. We had a few areas we wanted Joey to work on; walking on leash, listening to commands, and no jumping. The week we went to pick up the dogs we were wildly surprised! The dogs understood place commands, no jumping, walking on leash, walking off leash, coming when called, and basic obedience. The training is wonderful and I would recommend it to anyone. But what I was most satisfied with was Joey himself. Completely genuine, caring, and loves what he does. We actually had our follow up appointment recently, and our dogs loved seeing him again and greeted him with kisses!

We signed up for the board and train with Joey. I was going to wait until Monday to see how our dogs were going to do with being home. After less than 24 hours of being home, I'm so happy and almost in disbelief. We've had many distractions with them i.e.: the pizza guy, the mail man, dogs and people walking by and our dogs were well mannered, going to their bed when told and waiting until the mail man left, or just simply looking at the dogs as they walked by. (They used to bark and tear up our bay window) They anticipate commands and their eye contact is just great! My husband and I took them for a walk yesterday and they didn't bat an eye at barking dogs or other people. They were focused on us and our commands. I could go on and on for hours at how happy we are and what a great investment this was for our family! Joey and Nicole, from the bottoms of our hearts thank you!!!!!

Joey is a miracle worker! He takes the time to train your dog AND (more importantly) YOU!
Joey has trained my dog at my house privately and I have used left my dog with him for the board & train services. I was really happy to know that she was in great hands while I was away.

We reached out to Joey after working with several other dog trainers in the area. We were not feeling satisfied with the services the other trainers offered. Joey is very knowledgeable about dogs and why dogs do what they do. He has worked with our two rescued dogs, Charlotte and Brody, in a very supportive way to help them gain confidence and trust. He has also shown us what we need to do so the dogs will listen to us, as well! He is always there if we have a question. Joey is very professional and loves dogs more than anything. He is the trainer we have been hoping for and we are very lucky to have found him!
Both our dogs went to Joey's for board and train, and they came back home so much better behaved. What really impressed me was that when Joey came to our house for a follow-up training session both dogs were so happy to see him. It is wonderful to know they love him, too!
