John's Dog Magic llc - Canine Behavior Specialist, Puppy Training

I was so relieved to find a dog trainer here in Denver that uses positive reinforcement and fear free and prong collar free training techniques. Overtime our two year old dog developed food aggression issues with both us and our other dog, add that to his being a chronic counter surfer and you have the perfect storm. John worked with us over a period of time to help curb these behavioral concerns. We did our homework and saw results! We are so grateful to have found John’s Dog Magic - we have our sweet pup back.

John is amazing, I appreciated his confident gentle leadership style when it comes to managing a dogs behavior. Our puppy was struggling with walking by our side and with John’s tips he started walking next to us almost immediately. I would definitely recommend John, he’s personable, easy to work with and gives simple practical tips that can improve the quality of you and your dogs life significantly.

Training with John has been enlightening. Not only has Cirilla’s behavior improved, but mine has too. Some of our neighbors have commented on how much less reactive Cirilla is these days. I am obviously very proud of both of us, but daaaang, we are THOSE neighbors. With John’s guidance, I have been able to show up as a better leader and friend to both of my dogs. As a trainer, he is direct yet kind, explains things clearly, and always keeps expectations realistic. I am extremely satisfied with the progress we have been making.
