I do not use shock, prong, or choke collars. I do not believe in scaring or hurting dogs to get results. I use good old fashioned scientifically backed love, which includes clear communication, thoughtful reinforcement, and yes, lots of pets, snuggles, and food. Luring, when used correctly, is not some lazy trick. It is a foundational, research-supported technique for building real behavior change. I have plenty of success with it especially with hungry pups! I encourage you to use their breakfast and dinner meals for training so ya don't have to rely on snacks. If your food isn't super food motivated we can help you other ways. <br>It's about the work you put in. I do everything per diem because it's about how much YOU are actually working with your pup. I usually see clients a few times but as you know every pup and human is different.<br><br>I leave every client with goals to work on. If you ignore your homework, your pup won't learn. I check in with my clients to ensure everything is going alright but if you feel lost anytime even after two sessions, please be communicative. Please speak to me directly as I tailor every session to the dog and family in front of me. During sessions we focus on building a relationship, strengthening engagement, and reinforcing desired behaviors with intention. That is how good training works.<br><br>If you are looking for aversive training methods, I will save you the trouble. I AM NOT the trainer for you. I will not compromise the safety of the dogs I work with just to make a behavior disappear faster.<br><br>We are a queer and neurodiverse friendly business.
