The average is approximately 2.5 to 3 weeks. Most dogs require more time because by the time the dog owner is calling us, the behaviors have usually gotten pretty bad. We aim to reassure our clients that we provide regular video progress updates as their dog advances through our program.

Do your board & train programs include follow-up lessons?

Yes! There are a total of 4 follow-up lessons included with our program. The first one is completed when you pick up your dog. The remaining 3 must be completed within 2 weeks of picking up your dog. Each session is approximately 20 to 30 minutes but also varies according to the questions being asked.

We sent our 1yr old Vizsla to John for Obedience training. Typical hyper-active Vizsla with all the typical troubles of leash pulling, counter surfing, jumping on people,etc,etc. Well we thought John switched our dog as we saw a brand new dog that was much more tame and eager to please us and continue to learn. John and his team are fantastic and really do want you and your dog to have a bonded relationship. He is attentive to our questions after all the training and makes sure you know how to continue the training after. I would recommend John to anyone wanting a much more obedient and friendly dog.

We cannot recommend John Soares highly enough! From the moment we met him, we knew that we found someone truly exceptional. John's incredible ability to connect with our German Shepard and understand his exact individual needs was amazing. John’s training program came highly recommended to us by family members when we got our first Labrador puppy, Rory. We couldn’t be more pleased with both the results and the decision we made! Rory returned home from a 5-week training program with the skills and obedience we were hoping for. What made the biggest difference, however, was that John ensured we (the owners) were educated on how to continue Rory’s training beyond the program and integrate it into our daily lives.
