I’m so glad we found Joyful Dog! We just happened to see it one day as we were driving by and decided to try it out. Our golden doodle puppy, Libby, loves coming here for daycare, and just finished a two week board and train program. I’m amazed by how much progress she has made in such a short time working with her trainer, Cody.
When we came to pick her up, Cody took the time to thoroughly walk us through everything she had learned and answer all our questions so that we would be set up for success at home. You can tell that the entire team genuinely loves and cares about the dogs.
We had tried another daycare previously but Libby didn’t seem to enjoy it, it was overcrowded and overwhelming. Libby loves coming to Joyful Dog and gets so excited when we pull into the parking lot.
I’m glad to have such a supportive resource close by and look forward to continuing Libby’s training journey with the trainers and team here.

My experience and my dog’s experience has been great. They use a gentle training and that’s what my dog needs. I have had one on one training and it has worked and I am signed up for a group obedience class ( I think I need the training more than my dog!). You will not be disappointed and you will enjoy your pet more with the right training..

We rescued a dog in March and needed some help with training. Maggie has been doing the board and train program and is set to graduate 5/12. I cannot express enough what an amazing experience it has been. Miranda, Cody, and all the team members have provided Maggie love, patience, and training that is transformative. Miranda is not only a wonderful trainer, but a wonderful human who truly cares for the dogs and families she is helping! Our dog spent 3 weeks at Joyful for the board and train program, and she came out a completely different dog! She’s a hound and stubborn so we knew it would take some work from Miranda and her team, but they didn’t give up on her and kept working with her until it clicked. We will be using Joyful for future training, boarding, and daycare!
