Juan is exeptional in his craft. I am so pleased with the work he did with my 2.5yr old yellow lab. My girl is extremely stubborn, and still continues to test me. Juan was able to get her to respond to her e- collar. Her adrenaline gets so hign that she cannot hear commands, or she chooses not too. She and my chocolate lab, who Juan also worked with , is better with commands. They both know I mean business. I am very pleased with the whole experience and highly reccomend JPK9 Academy.

I am not one to post reviews but my experience with Juan has been great! I had taken my puppy to various trainers and it wasn’t until she went through his board & train program that she started to learn to control her impulses. As a first time puppy owner, I need lots of hand holding and Juan has been available to support me any time that I have needed it. His group classes have helped train me to handle her in a way that will continue the good behavior. I highly recommend him!

We own Bella a 10-month-old Beagle. As a puppy she developed some behaviors that were not to our liking: she did not respond to our calls or orders to sit, lie down, be still, or go to her bed. Outings to the park were not the most enjoyable, she always went ahead pulling on the leash, smelling, and being distracted by everything. We decided to try the Doggy Bootcamp. Juan took her to train for 21 days. After her 21-day basic training, we can safely say the satisfaction of meeting a very different dog. It is a delight to have a pet trained by a professional like Juan. Bella is an obedient dog, she follows the instructions to sit, lie down, be still in one place, etc. She is also able to maintain good behavior at home. The truth is that in this review it is not possible to reward Juan for such an excellent job with our dog. While it can be expensive to send your dog to camp outside the home for 21 days, It is worth this investment since you will have an obedient, friendly, and above all educated dog. We are now participating in group classes to reinforce learned behavior. For those who may have doubts about the training programs that Juan offers. All-time he was informing us of the progress of our dog's training. He was always in communication with us sending us videos. Juan's support goes beyond training by providing advice, tools, and equipment that can help your pet to maintain what they have learned and improve other behaviors. I definitely recommend them. Juan loves dogs like us, he knew how to handle and correct Bella with a mixture of love and discipline. Thanks a lot, Juan! Very good work! Jorge R.

Had a great first time and last minute training session with Juan .I saw he was training other dogs so well and had to book a session. I will continue to use his services for my bluenose pitty. Juan makes sure he tackles the biggest issue first that I brought up and always asks in between what questions I might have . The biggest thing for me was I felt comfortable asking him questions and him giving me the answer and other tips! With just this one class a huge difference with the pup was done, I couldn’t believe it, Juan knows his stuff :) He also has great recommendations of products and sells his own as well. Lastly, at the end of training he reviews everything we went over, which is useful for someone like me that is a tad forgetful . I had the pleasure of working with him for he is courteous, understanding, and knowledgeable. Would recommend to others!

We were having a really tough time with our dog after she got to about 6 months old so we decided to find her a boarding school. We looked all around the local area and none of them seemed to be a goof fit for us. Alot of them seemed as though our dog would have been crated up for the most part only. We were lucky to find Juan. He met us the very day we contacted him and took our dog Riley in to his program that very night. Great man who does great work. He got Riley back up to date with her shots, addressed the problem we were having with her and most importantly taught us how to do it ourselves. High recommend sending your dog to him if you're looking to board your dogs. He'll treat them as his own. Thanks juan!
