Outstanding Trainer PLUS Small Veteran Owed Business! If you are searching for a dog trainer, your search is over. These folks are very professional, reliable and extremely knowledgeable. After calling several training companies, we found their fee to be reasonable. They do it ALL – personalized training, group training, board and train or simply board your puppy if you need to take a trip. Their dog training style is easy to understand and most importantly, it works. You should know, I am the proud owner of the “untrainable” Australian Cattle Shepherd. My boy, Dingo, is really smart but he is hardheaded and has a mind of his own. He has nipped at everyone from children to the gardener and of course, us. The final straw happed in the Spring of 2025. We were visiting family at a lakeside village for a week. A small dog had been nipping and barking at Dingo the entire week. On the last day apparently, my dog had endured enough and decided to lunge at the small dog to either nip or bite him. Unfortunately, the small dog’s owner tried to stop Dingo and suffered a terrible and deep scratch plus some bites that were definitely more than nips. This incident prompted us to seek out formal dog training so this could never happen again. My boy, Dingo, is a completely different dog. He is not perfect and he does make mistakes but he is extremely well behaved, knows and illustrates several different commands and is now preparing to be a service dog “flyer” (able to travel on a plane). To say it is a miracle is an understatement. Juan and his wife Sarah have been so instrumental in helping us change our behavior to better train our boy. I cannot say enough how much we appreciate them. They have made a huge difference in the life of our boy and in our life. Because of them, we have a perfect gentleman boy puppy. Wherever we take him, people are impressed with his demeanor and how well behaved his acts. Juan and Sarah, thank you!!!

My Frankie loves Juan and Sarah. We did a Board and Train and Frankie came back such a good boy. When we got Frankie, we couldn't get him to listen to us and did whatever he wanted. Now, Frankie can walk nicely, sit and stay, and recall. Juan was so helpful in training me to keep Frankie's training up. We attend weekly trainings which are such a great help with making sure Frankie and myself are kept well trained.

We recently adopted a 5 year old pup, Alfie, from a rescue. He is incredibly sweet at home, but had a lot of reactivity on the leash with dogs and at times people. He also was incredibly nervous around new people and was lacking confidence. We decided to have him join the board and train program for 4 weeks. When he came home, he had a new confidence about him! He seemed to feel more secure in himself. He is way less reactive on the leash, loves his at home training time and we are even able to take him to stores with us and he seems excited to be there! So thankful for Juan and Sarah for helping him find his confidence and looking forward to his continued growth (and ours!) through group sessions and at home trainings.

Charlotte is our 8-year old Chi-Terrier rescue who would go into a barking frenzy whenever the doorbell rang, and would lunge and bark at other dogs on our dog walks. She is otherwise such a super sweet girl, so we tolerated those behaviors. But when she started to bite at the ankles/toes of our house guests, we knew we had an unacceptable and dangerous behavior that needed correction. Juan worked with us and our dog in our home, and over 3 sessions, her behavior has radically improved. What we appreciate is that Juan is training us as much as training the dog and providing us the tools that we need. It doesn't take more than a minute to see that Juan 'knows' dogs, and knows their behaviors. In the second minute, you learn to trust Juan and follow his guidance.
