K-9 Academy Dog Training School

I would like to assure anyone with a dog that Tony’s vast knowledge of dogs is very extensive. I am relying on Tony for very Specialized Service work with my Lab who is just 8 months old. I did go to another trainer and did not come away with the knowledge of what I as an owner needed to understand. Tony is a great teacher and the results are already extensive I Highly recommend Tony’s methods and K-9 Academy.

Tony is an amazing trainer! I was having multiple behavior issues with my 1 1/2 yr old Shih Tzu and was at my wits end with him. I brought him to Tony at K9 Academy and it’s the absolute best thing i have ever done for this lil furbaby. (And myself!)The knowledge this man has of animal behavior is beyond incredible. Upon consultation he explained his personality traits, the why behind the bad behaviors and assured me he could teach him all the corrections he needed as long as i did the homework between lessons. Tony explains everything he is teaching, why he is teaching it and also the mishaps that can happen should you not follow correctly. He worked with Dublin to show me the correct way, then had me work with him as he refined it with me. You never walk out of a lesson with any doubts as to what you are to be doing for that week. He is also only a phone call away should you need guidance and reassurance , which i did need a few times. Today Dublin completed his basic training and i can’t thank Tony enough for doing what he does! My dog now has focus, structure, he completes tasks upon command and enjoys every minute of it. My little man has confidence in himslf now, which was one of his issues contibuting to his poor behavior, and he is a well rounded, behaved member of our household today thanks to Tony. Honestly if you are ready to give up on your pet, as i was, give Tony a call. K9 Academy is worth every minute and dollar you spend. I highly reccommend this trainer....he gave me hope when i had none and for that i am very grateful.

We are very pleased with the progress our two labs have been making since coming to K-9 Academy! Both labs are 4 years old and we have had difficulty controlling them while walking on a leash and keeping them from jumping on guests when they come into our home. Tony has helped us tremendously with shaping our labs into the polite pups we always knew they could be and giving us the tools we need to effectively work with them in our own home!
