K-9 Academy Dog Training School

Very impressed with the wide knowledge Tony has in dog behavior. He is very good at explaining the breakdown of how to move forward, in obtainable amounts, to lead to a success pet rehabilitation. As a shelter employee Tony was able to give me the knowledge to work with reactive dogs we so often see entering the shelter. Because of K9 Academy I am happy to say that I have been able to successfully help several dogs that would otherwise not have gotten a second chance. I can not thank them enough for always just being a phone call away.

I came to Tony the same day I picked my adopted lab up from the shelter and we began working on basic obedience. Tony's wealth of knowledge and understanding of dogs is incredible. His method of training works - it was only a matter of minutes before our dog began recognizing commands, and, with consistent work, she has become an obedient and loved part of our family. I can't recommend K9 Academy strongly enough - if I could I'd rate him 10 stars! Any time I hear that someone is having issues with their dog I tell them to go see Tony.

Tony is a great trainer. I started working with him because I wanted to compete in obedience and rally with my 2 yr old Rottweiler Minnie. Minnie had a lot of trouble staying focusedAlong the way I got a rottie puppy. Tony has helped me tremendously with both of them. They have two different personalities and Tony figures out the best way to work with them. He has been a huge help in figuring out how to motivate Minnie, the laziest working dog ever. Minnie needed help learning focus. She now has AKC titles in rally and obedience, and Tony is continuing to work with us as Minnie advances in competition. Thankfully he has been there from the beginning with my puppy Axl. At 10 months old his obedience is excellent. Tony is always there to answer any questions I have, and we have been able to keep up on any puppy issues to prevent problems. I highly recommend K-9 Academy!!!

I take my 4 year old Rottweiler to Tony at K-9 Academy, and i couldn't be happier! Our dog was 3 years old when we started training with Tony, our dog had some behavioural issues, tony took the time to not only train our dog but train us to continue at our home. Our dog is now calm and listens to our commands! We are very happy, and will continue to use K-9 Academy! We recommend him to anyone with obedience problems with their dogs.
