K-9 Defense

My German shepherd puppy Bear recently completed a 5 week course at K9 Defense in Scottsdale, AZ, and it was an outstanding experience! Working with Mallory was an absolute pleasure. Her expertise, patience, and dedication made all the difference. The entire team is professional and truly cares about making a positive impact. Bear has improved so much, I can't recommend K9 Defense and Mallory highly enough. Five stars! Very much looking forward to his next course.

K9 defense has been awesome training our dog with confidence issues. We got our dog back and she is so much more controllable and confident. The obedience level is awesome! I can’t wait to see how much better our family German Shepherd gets with time! They have been super helpful with teaching us how to keep our dogs happy and attentive, all of the staff is also very knowledgable and friendly. I would highly recommend k9 defense for all of your dog training needs.

K-9 Defense has been wonderful in training us and our dog, Remy, to address dog reactivity issues. They have a lot of experience with our dog’s breed—Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd/Dutch Shepherd mix—and even train official law enforcement K-9 dogs. It’s also important to us that our dog enjoys going back to K-9 Defense to work. He is clearly happy to see the trainers at K-9 Defense whenever we arrive at their facilities. As you can see in some of the photos I have included, our dog is now able to remain dog-neutral while on walks/runs and at dog-friendly restaurants. A dog like ours requires a lot of mental and physical stimulation to live a fulfilling life and K-9 Defense continues to provide support to us if we have any questions or need a training refresher.

100%, These guys rock. Chris is an absolute rock star with communication and scheduling. He oversees all of the personal protection dogs and he is great with people. I have seen a lot of poor training companies locally, and I am grateful for finding them. George and Wes are top notch training decoys and that was apparent with my first training session. I won't go anywhere else as long as I have dogs! Thanks to your entire team!

I’ve been a dog trainer for about 23 years now, I’ve traveled the world, teaching students and learning from other trainers. I can easily that K9 Defense is one of the top companies in the world. It’s rare that you find anyone, let alone a full staff, of trainers who understand dogs on the level that they do. Anytime we train together I walk away with a wealth of new knowledge.
