We can’t say enough great things about Denise and her training - even though we’ve had several long-term dogs over the years, we never had any serious behavioral issues like we had with our present big puppy - from extreme leash pulling to playing that became frenzied…resulting in biting, to just being what Denise called “bratty!”. Because we don’t know how big our mix will grow, and our grandkids coming to visit, we decided it was time for professional help. We’re so glad we chose Denise. We did go by her outstanding reviews! Denise was instrumental in getting our puppy to be much calmer, attentive, and obedient. Denise showed us how to manage our reactions along with our dog’s… and showed us that the work is two-sided …for both dog and owner. Walking on the street is no longer an ordeal and playing is no longer always building up to a frenzied biting situation. "From Reactive to Radiant: Bodhi’s Breakthrough with K9 Compass!" We are beyond grateful for K9 Compass and the work they've done with our boy, Bodhi! Before training, we were really struggling with behavior issues—including reactivity, leash frustration, and even some aggression directed toward us, his owners. Let me start by saying 5stars is not enough to show how great the trainer is. The difference I saw with my dog the first week was incredible. My frenchie went here after his bestie Kona(my service dog) passed away. He showed up for training a little less confident since he no longer had Kona to look up too. She took him in and worked with him and he came back with so much confidence, manners, and learned a bunch of new commands. My dog was just as excited as we were to arrive at the facility and spend the day learning with Denise. You will not be disappointed with the outcome if you choose Denise as your trainer. She has amazing communication and feedback via pictures and videos throughout the day. We were so thankful to get these updates on the progress throughout the day. Hands down 10/10 would recommend.

Bronx’s Trainer Was a Game-Changer I can’t thank Denise the trainer enough. My 4-year-old Cane Corso, Bronx, has a big head, big attitude, and is super attached to me—so training wasn’t easy. But from the start, it was clear she understood how to work with powerful, protective breeds like him. She didn’t just train Bronx—she helped me become a better handler and leader. He responded to her in a way I’ve never seen before. She earned his respect, and mine too. Now he’s more focused, listens better, and our bond is even stronger. Highly recommend her if you’ve got a strong-willed dog like mine!
