Having adopted two young crazy dogs from the shelter (a mother and daughter), we were struggling just to get them pad trained, let alone your basic sit/down/heel/ etc. Denise has been a life changer for us. Denise has accomplished an incredible amount of change for both of the dogs and of course us. Denise gives full days, one on one with your pet, and when you pick them after their session, she demonstrates the accomplishments of the day, and instructs you on how to achieve those results at home! If you are considering training for your dog, K9 Compass is the way to go! Denise is knowledgeable, patient (with me and my pup, Bullet), and is passionate about what she does. You can tell she truly wants to make a difference for you and your dog. Before K9 Compass my home was full of chaos, frustration and I was at a loss on how to train Bullet properly. Bullet definitely lives up to his name, he is a VERY high energy dog and the struggle with him jumping on people and pulling on the leash made it impossible to take him anywhere. I have the sweetest dog but his energy was always getting him in trouble. After working with Denise I now have a well mannered dog who listens to commands, walks beautifully on a leash and his jumping has dramatically decreased. Does he want to jump on people still, of course he does! He definitely still attempts at times to jump when someone new comes to greet him but now I have the tools and skills to correct his behavior. I'm confident that with some time, effort and consistency (on my part) Bullet will get out of the habit of jumping on people. Denise was the absolute best teacher, she took her time with teaching me what exactly to do and how to adjust accordingly. She gave me the confidence to walk my pitbull in public without fear. I now know how to control my dog and the situations I put him in. Thanks to Denise, I have a dog who is still his spunky self but who is also alot calmer and ultimately happier. Words cannot describe how grateful I am for Denise 💙

Very pleased with our foundational and lifestyle training program purchase. Well worth the investment. Our malinois babs absolutely loved getting dropped off, seemed like it was her favorite part of the day. Babs was a great pup who tried to pull your arm off, high energy, jumping, everything you could expect with a malinois. Denise made magic happen turning babs from unbearable in public to a pleasant experience. Could not ask for a better training program for both myself and for babs, open and clear communication and an experience that taught us how to continue to improve our relationship with our pup. Will recommend to all my dog friends and family!

We brought our Australian Shepherd puppy, Dexter, to Denise based on a recommendation. I can honestly say it was the best decision we’ve made. I saw changes in him on the first day. She not only taught him, but she taught us also. We now have the tools to lead him properly. If I could give her 1,000 stars I would. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Denise and we look forward to working with her again in the future.
