K9 Concepts Dog Training

We sent our German Sheppard (Apollo) to Gus when he was a puppy for obedience training and Apollo came back a totally different dog. Apollo was able to adhere to several commands after his initial training. We recently sent Apollo back to Gus for some remedial training and again Apollo came back to us even more obedient! We tried one dog “trainer” prior to Gus and our experience was miserable, the methods Gus implements will stay imbedded with the dog for as long as we as owners, continue to engage our dogs.

We knew she was a great dog. She knew she was a great dog. Thank goodness Gus believed in her! Rey was a rescue Belgian Malinois, dumped in N GA, no micro-chip, malnourished and on top of everything, she had Parvo. The shelter staff was great with her, but after months in the shelter, she was a mess. We tried a local trainer and it helped but she still had major issues with reacting to men approaching me. Gus is a miracle worker. She is now a confident, patient and responsive dog. Yes, she’s still a Maligator and tests us, but Gus gave us the tools to deal with that. If you have any doubts, don’t! A small investment in Gus’s training program will payout over the many years that you will have a well behaved dog, that understands what is expected of him/her.

10/10 recommend Gus with K9 Concepts Dog Training!! We enrolled our Border Collie in the four week course. Before taking him he was very difficult to walk on the leash, was counter surfing in our home badly and needed some fine tuning on simple obedience. Now we take him into the store with us and people comment on how well behaved he is. Additionally, the counter surfing has stopped! Gus genuinely cares about the dogs he works with and takes great care of them. He is very knowledgeable about what he does and it’s very apparent that he truly enjoys it! The grounds are immaculate and are well taken care of. If you are on the fence or are looking for someone to train your dog, look no further!

I want to give a HUGE thank you to Gus Navarro and K9 Concepts! Our Belgian Malinois, Bella, completed the basic and advanced obedience as well as socialization programs with Gus. And I can’t say enough great things about the transformation. She is a very different type of dog than I have ever had so I knew I needed special training to understand her better and train her the right way. And he did not disappoint. He provided Bella with an amazing foundation and me with the knowledge on how to build on that foundation. I am taking her places I never dreamed of taking my dogs before…the hardware store, the mall and even the Dr office! And he is always available for follow up either by phone or a visit!
