We believe that our way of training is unique and is the most effective because of our approach. Our technique is to train your dog to be completely obedient for those who handle the canine. I have a three month old pit mix he is aggressive towards other dogs. He first meets and doesn't understand the word no. Is he even old enough to get trained? Also, I looked on the website and I could not find pricing how much wood training cost?

So I made the amazing decision to buy a Doberman... lol ... Very quickly we realized we needed professional help. After alot of DD on local trainers we picked K9 for multiple reasons. Lainey was trained young 5 months she came back a different dog in a good way of course she did have to go back still needed work I can happily report after a second visit shes even better. We have now boarded her there a couple times I think this is golden ticket once you've let K9 train your dog you get inclusive boarding. Its affordable and I believe is also helping with training her. She was a mess when we brought her. She's pretty great now they tought her I want to say 5 good commands. Owen is the owner he has been great , the staff just excellent. From Training, Boarding even home visits the experience with K9 has been top notch. Thanks so much

My 5 year old pup is still in training there, but I got to visit him yesterday and it was mind blowing the amount he’s learned. He had tried going to a board and train years ago outside of Columbia, SC but even though she had great reviews she was shut down half way through his training. Cola experienced A LOT of trauma from her and had become extremely reactive towards dogs and kids (he’s always been reactive towards them but it only got worse). So the fact that K9 Control is so patient with him, encourages him, sets boundaries with him and gives him love when his mama can’t be there to love on him is AMAZING. So worth the money. I’ll post an update when he comes home too! UPDATE: Going through the training before going home with cola was extremely thorough. I’ve been practicing with him outside of our apartment and on walks. I can’t wait for his follow up to see what else we can be doing at home. Thank you K9 Control family! You worked wonders!

I absolutely love Val and Caleb. They have become part of our family. They took our 2 Shepards in for board and train and the process was smooth as possible. Their prices were very reasonable vs other competitors with the same type of training. We still call on Guiding Canines for boarding when we are out of town.
