K9 Control Training

I came in with my 16 week old puppy thinking I was gonna end up with a dog with severe aggression issues if I didn't. When I entered the facility I was met with very inviting personalities even though they could tell my pup was terrified to be there. Owen came out within 5 minutes of me being there and was very sweet and professional. He put a collar and leash on my pup and proceeded to just do some easy walks to kind of see where my puppy stood. My pup fought a little bit since he's used to being able to do what he wants. Within a couple of minutes it looked like I was watching a completely different dog. Owen sat down with me and and said exactly what I needed to hear not what I wanted to hear which was that I was being too easy on him. And honestly I really appreciate him not sugar coating it. Instead of pressuring me into buying some expensive package he actually told me that right now wouldn't be the best time since he is so young. He listened to how I go about my day to day and told me where I need to work on things and how. Even though my pup did not get trained there yet I have been raving about him to the people around me and clients at my job since I work with animals. I would trust him and his company with my dogs before I would family members. HIGHLY recommend to anyone. Thank you for everything and I look forward to bringing my pups to you in the future. P.S Murray slept the entire car ride home and normally he's all over the car so thank you!!

Our sweet dogs were fighting. Redirected aggression, they call it. Anytime someone would walk by, knock on the door, look at them wrong… they’d attack each other. It was scary, difficult to manage, and frankly embarrassing. We realized we were living our lives around this issue, and that we needed help. After some research, phone calls, and meetings, we opted for a board and train locally with K 9 Control Training. We missed our dogs so much, but we’re so glad we made this call. They are so well trained, their nervous systems are more regulated, they’re not fighting, and we have the tools and support we need to keep it that way. It’s been so liberating to have this new relationship with our dogs, I have a hard time putting it in to words. Simply put, everyone is so much happier. We love our dogs so much, and we’re all so glad to have turned this new leaf together!

I have my dog Toby with K9 Control Training and I can’t have enough words to describe how great and professional this people are, Owen is a great person and very knowledgeable with a lot of experience and passion he change my dog behavior in 6 weeks to me this is a miracle because Toby is a German Shepherd 11 months old and was no way for me to make him obey Toby only want to play and destroy things, now we are very proud of our dog me and my husband Danny was very lucky to have Toby with people at K9 Training we really recommend to all dogs parents go there and meet this wonderful place.

This place saved my dog's life. He was a rescue that I was VERY late to the game taking in for training. He was afraid of everything and acted out with fear based aggression. I could not be happier with the training and care he received here. There's nothing "cookie-cutter" about their approach. I was sent home with a totally different dog in the best kind of way. I can't believe how many behaviors were corrected and the level of control I now have over my dog. The trainers and staff are wonderful. I highly recommend this place to everyone who has a dog!!
