K9 Guide Dog Training

As an owner of another dog training company, I can say that K9 Guide is known throughout the training industry for their professionalism and training ability. I would particularly like to shout out Collin as a trainer and educator that is looked up to and celebrated throughout the dog training industry. Collin’s ability to train dogs on all ends of the spectrum, from working dogs to pet dogs, is well known, and he is an industry leader for his humane and dog centric approach to working with purpose bred dogs (police, military, etc). I have personally observed him working with pet dog owners, and can attest that he is not only kind and patient with the dogs, but also with the owners. Collin understands when to push owners, and when to empower them, which is the dance that all dog trainers work to get better at every day. If you decide to have your dog trained with K9 Guide, just know that your dog is in the hands of consummate professionals which are well known and celebrated in our industry for being outstanding trainers and educators.

I 110% recommend K9 Guide and have told many people about the success story of my pup Ace. Before K9 Guide, Ace was a very loving and caring dog, but seemed to be the physical embodiment of chaos. Literally bouncing off the walls. Knocking our daughter over out of pure excitement of seeing her. His reactivity to EVERYTHING was horrid. Walks were dreaded. Manners and self-control were not in his vocabulary. When my wife and I learned of K9 Guide, we decided to give it a shot. The results were mind blowing. After him returning home from their board program, and having a few lessons at home, Ace is THE dog many strive to have. His reactivity is essentially non existent now. Walks are now a joy and pleasure. His recall is amazing, coming without hesitation. He is easily one of, if not, the best behaved dog in our neighborhood. Inside the home, he's so much more well behaved. He interacts with our daughter so gently now. No more chaos, no more bouncing off the walls, no more feeling as if he ran the house. Collin, Yana, and Jimmie have done an amazing job and are truly a blessing from God. They have not only helped Ace, but helped me aswell. I have become such a better owner for Ace through the things they've taught me on training him. K9 Guide is a wonderful organization and have turned my chaos pup into the best behaved boy around. And best yet, he is still his loving full of joy self.

Collin of K9 Guide has been absolutely crucial in not only guiding myself and my Malinois, Castle, in the transition from IGP to PSA, but also helping lay the foundation for my puppy’s career in competition AKC Obedience and Rally. Over the past year we’ve worked with K9 Guide and Collin, he’s been enthusiastic and positive about my dogs’ progress and has encouraged us every step of the way. Those blue ribbons don’t lie!

Cannot say enough good things about K9 Guide Dog Training. We sent our GSP to the Board & Train program and it was priceless. First, our puppy loves Yana, Jimmie and Collin. Second, they did an outstanding job setting a foundation for our dog - but more importantly trained us on how to be better dog owners. Our high energy bird dog is happy, healthy, well adjusted and most importantly trustworthy out in public. It doesn’t matter if we are at Home Depot, the pet store or the CVNP our pup is leash free and responsive to anything we ask of her - even if a bird goes flying by at eye level. We’ve recommend them to many friends that have gotten puppies, attended almost every alumni event and even started working our dog through their scent work program. 10 out of 10. Would recommend.
