Conveniently located just 25 minutes from ABIA, K9 Mastery is one of Central TX's premiere dog training and boarding facilities. Our facility is located on our 43 acre private ranch in Bastrop, TX. We offer boarding (even for dogs with behavioral issues), training with a specialization in high level behavioral issues--including aggression and reactivity, and daycare services. We have over 15 years of experience training what others deem untrainable, but that doesn't mean we don't work with your standard lapdog either. We have trained all ages, sizes, and breeds, so don't hesitate to reach out for more info regarding what we can do for you and your dog. K9 Mastery and Christie are everything my husband and I prayed for when our 2 year old dog mix started showing behaviors. Our dog had been struggling with high anxiety and aggression for about a year. We had tried other trainers and left the sessions only in disappointment or scared that we could never help our pup. At the first training session, Christies tactics worked great with our dog. She talked us through everything and gave us answers to all of dogs issues. We have gone through most of the levels of the training and have seen a amazing changes in our dogs behaviors. Also, our dog loved going to 'school' and seeing Christie every Tuesday night. I would recommend anyone and everyone to Christie and K9 Mastery.

Christie is amazing! She showed my wife and I that you can teach an old stubborn dog new tricks. Our 9 yr old pitbull, Hoss, was dog aggressive and lacked any obedience training when we found him as a stray. After nine weeks of board & train at K9 Mastery, his behavior has improved immensely. He behaves around other dogs, loves following commands, and he's great on the leash. The way Christie trains keeps him happy and feeling accomplished. He came home after 9 weeks ready to continue learning and obeying, he loves his training sessions! The transition back home to Houston went well for Hoss because Christie did such a good job educating us as owners. I would highly recommend K9 Mastery to anyone seeking any type of dog training services.

Christie and Ryan are amazing. They are the only people we trust with our dog. Whenever we go out of town we drive over an hour just to take him to them. The bungalows are a good deal at $35/night and they take your dog out 5 times a day. Worth the drive!

Took my Blue Heeler (Australian Cattle Dog) here after struggling for 6 months after we adopted her with her aggression issues and inability to walk on a leash. THIS CLASS CHANGED OUR LIVES. After the first lesson, there was already a noticeable difference in her behavior, and after the full 8 weeks she was a completely different dog. You HAVE to follow the rules and stick to the plan or you won't see progress. Her methods may seem strict to some, but when your dog is lunging at other dogs to try and bite them, this is the only thing to do. I can not express enough how amazing all the people at K9 Mastery are. I now take my dog with me everywhere, never worry about her behavior, and still enforce all the rules I learned to this day. Consistency is key!
