K9 Role Models

My 12 month old Pittie just finished his last course with Vannessa and he’s made such a tremendous evolution over the last 8 classes. He used to have uncontrollable puppy energy and no focus with reactivity at the sight of other dogs and now he has exceptional focus on me with reliable recall and off-leash (and on) obedience. He’s learned skills that will keep him safe and focused and I’ve learned skills that can maintain that training and give him confidence- I will likely do it again with the next pup!

I was fortunate enough to have Vanessa do at home training. It was a wonderful experience. She was able to take a novice puppy mom and excitable lab mix and train “us” really. We were taught skills in a patient and effective way. Vanessa knows what she’s doing. Understands dogs individually and generally. She was very available to answer questions. She helped us both become better together. I’m now getting compliments from neighbors who’ve witnessed the transformation. I’m so very grateful and HIGHLY recommend K-9 Role models! 5⭐️s

We needed training for our dog (Shepard mix) who was very protective when people would come into our home or anywhere near us. She would retreat quickly but she would bark and be kind of scary. Come to find out after meeting with Vanessa it was a result of a combination of being insecure and needing to be redirected. We started with Vanessa and our dog made outstanding progress with every class. She taught us everything we needed to train our dog and adjust her behavior. She now listens and responds to the commands. Vanessa really made a huge difference for us and I would highly recommend her to everyone that needs to train the dog. It’s an Investment for your dog you will not regret. Vanessa is wonderful and her training works.
