K9 Translations

Visited this place on the recommendation of a friend. We rescued a dog from Romania, called Sooty, and while we able to build a loving bond of trust, we struggled with training him with verbal commands. It was then we realized he only spoke Romanian. K9 Translations to the rescue! After a two week intensive training course. Sooty could understand English fluently. He is still eating his own feces though.

I consider myself so very fortunate to have discovered Kathryn and Kim. I have been a dog owner most of my life, but my dogs were always just companions. Over seven years ago, I decided to put my two dogs in nose work training to help stimulate their minds and enrich their lives. Both of my pups have been in scent classes with Kathryn for over seven years. I love the positive reinforcement and reward-based training. I seem more connected with my dogs because of the training we have been through together. When I was having recall issues with my advanced sent dog, Kim was recommended to me. I took a three week class with her doing recall games and she was wonderful. I especially liked the fact that she sent information to me via email before the class so I could read it research it, and understand what was expected of me. As a result, it made me better prepared to help my dog through this class. I have also taken trick classes with Kim. She broke everything down into simple and easy to understand steps. She made the class fun and there was no pressure on my dog to perform, which I greatly appreciated. I have highly recommended both Kathryn and Kim to numerous friends that have new young dogs so that they will get started off on the right foot on their journey.
