Kabler School For Dogs

We recently placed our two youngest dogs (ages 4 and 5) through Kabler’s residency program to deal with certain issues, and we are VERY pleased with the results. Both our dogs and my husband and I have learned a lot through this process, and it has turned out to be a very rewarding experience for all of us. Kabler’s staff are great, and they always kept us up-to-date on the dogs’ progress while in residency. The facility itself is very clean and nice. Most importantly, our dogs really love the staff, and that speaks volumes. Highly recommend Kabler’s for anyone looking for a top quality dog training facility.

I took my 1.5 year old pup to Kabler School after doing a ton of research for dog training in the Asheville area. Noodle's problem areas were pulling hard on the leash, stubbornness, and coming when called. She had a bit of nervousness as well. I signed up for private on-leash training and in the 10 weeks we worked with Candy, she was able to greatly improve Noodle's obedience and worked on her nervousness around new people with other trainers at the school. From the first session, it was clear Candy was passionate about what she does, and she was patient with Noodle as we got through each week. (It's also worth noting that Candy was also extremely proud of Noodle's growth through the sessions, which made me really happy, too!) Toward the end of our private sessions, I found out I was moving out of the area and the team (Candy, David, Nick) were so quick and accommodating working with me to ensure that Noodle and I got the most out of the time I had left in the area. David hosted a great group session that made me really see just how well-trained Noodle is now - staying in place, waiting, not pulling toward other dogs. Nick helped us in the park on the long line, working on her recall skills and distractions. It truly was a team effort and I'm so thankful for everyone here! If I weren't moving out of the area I would absolutely be signing up for the off-leash lessons. I don't write reviews often, only when the services are truly worth every penny. If you're considering Kabler, this is your sign! Do it.

My pup and I just had our 4th swimming/dock diving lesson with David, and we have had more and more fun every time! We had a long break after the first lesson in May, but once we started going once a week, we have been progressing quickly! It’s so much fun and a great, active way to spend time with your canine companion. David is knowledgeable, patient, and kind. This is going to be a regular activity for us!
