Katz K9

We took our corgi, Eric to Adam for a 5 week board and train. Before training with Adam, our dog was constantly anxious. He was barking at every person and dog on a walk and pacing around the house. Eric has been home for two weeks now and he’s a completely different dog. He is more confident and happier overall. He no longer barks for hours nonstop and no longer pulls on the leash for walks. He listens to commands. Adam is very responsive and very easy to work with! We highly recommend.

We absolutely loved having Adam work with our dog tramp. In the beginning we had no idea that our dog has really bad anxiety and he was able to point it out instantly. Our pup still has anxiety but now that we know and Adam has worked with him a little and shown us how to work with him, he's also shown us how to help build our pups confidence that I have no doubt that we can give our pup a happier life. I highly recommend Adam for all your dog training needs. He's so informative on the training techniques that he uses that I myself learned alot from him. We had a dog from the pound that had some dog aggression, and we were wanting to get the aggression under control. Katz was upfront and professional about how he trains dogs and what was realistic for our dog during the initial meeting. He was incredibly flexible on training times, and we trained our dog consistently for months. Our dog went from being aggressive upon the mere sight of other dogs his size to allowing them within three feet of him and being able to ignore them. We are able to take our dogs so many more places now, and we learned ourselves how to handle our dog. A few months ago we went on our honeymoon and we’re worried about what to do with the dogs, but Katz does boarding too! We left our dogs for ten days and didn’t worry one bit about them. We will exclusively board our dogs with Katz. We got pictures and updates about our dogs while we were away, and we knew they were being well taken care of. 10/10 highly recommend Katz K9 for boarding and dog training.

Adam at Katz K9 is amazing. We first reached out in January for a consultation and he was quick to get back to us and scheduled a free consultation to make sure we were all a good fit. I had read through his website on what he offered and his philosophy for training. When we met with him he was very thorough, answered all our questions and made things make sense to us first timers ☺️. We quickly knew that his philosophy matched ours and just needed to determine the method of training we would use, board and train vs session. After deciding on board and train Adam was quick to answer all my questions, sent the contract and was able to schedule our Athena in just a few weeks. He made drop off easy even though saying see you in 5 weeks was hard to do with our baby. Adam sent update videos and was always super quick to respond to any question or messages I sent. We picked up Athena today and we were so impressed at how well Adam had done with her. Never before could we have her lay on a bed and us walk away and her actually stay in place until released and she even did this with us sitting across the room while Adam walked into the other room. She can now heel like a champion and was very good at recall! I am excited to keep working with her and can’t wait for our first follow up in a few weeks! I would 100% recommend Adam for your training needs! We will be using him in the future for boarding and any additional training needs for Athena or any other dogs we may get!!
