Kentucky Dog Training LLC

Amazing transformation! We have a 3.5 yr old white Labrador named Norman. He has a sweet, happy disposition… however he has always been extremely impulsive to the point it wasn’t fun to take him on walks. He would pull us and chase/bark at other people and dogs. After Sam had him for 18days, he is a different dog!!! He is fun to take on walks and is much more manageable around the house. I can take his leash off and he will “STAY” regardless of other dogs or people walking by. The photo of Norman is of him laying in our backyard without a leash on…… which NEVER would have been possible before Samantha and Cici trained him. We are forever grateful for the work they did and are now able to fully enjoy our sweet pup Norman.

Sam is absolutely amazing to work with. She’s extremely knowledgeable but comes across humble and helpful. She’s great with the dogs. She’s had 3 of mine in board and train programs and my girls love her. She takes wonderful care of them and I know they are safe with her. I trust her 150%. And the results are fantastic. My Lady is well on her way to getting invites to Rally Nationals next year after spending the summer with Sam to earn some titles. My Aspen is also racking up some titles and Sam is coaching me on showing her in conformation and doing rally with her myself. And my Valka just came home today, happy, healthy and ready to try to earn some titles herself. Sam has also been a great coach for me as I work through some anxiety issues and try to show my dogs myself. I’m absolutely thankful for the help she has given me and can’t wait to see what my pack can accomplish with her coaching us.

I sent my dog to Sam at Kentucky Dog Training for the Distraction program after it was recommended to me by my Vet. He struggled with confidence at times and could be quite reactive. I have told multiple people that this is one of the best or the best thing I have done for this dog! He is happy and much more self-assured; this has translated to us having an even better relationship and I can more confidently take him out. He gets to have a much fuller life because of the relationship Sam built with him and the training she has done with him. I have recommended her to multiple people and will use Sam and Kentucky Dog Training with future dogs.

My dog Chicory recently completed the four week Puppy Plus board and train. I am really happy with the results! I also received a follow-up lesson for myself to ensure that I could keep up his good habits. His trainer, Kara, took excellent care of him and kept me updated on his progress while he was was with her. (I think he may have been a tiny bit spoiled as he was not happy with me when I had to leave for work this morning.) I definitely appreciated the photos and videos from his "field trips" while he was away. I highly recommend Kentucky Dog Training LLC!
