So I never write reviews but Ali is the absolute best and I wanted to share my experience. I had been searching for a trainer to help me with my 10mo old WHP Griffon who I was struggling with. Fozzie is so smart and loving but I just didn’t have the bandwidth to train him on my own. I was really struggling to manage his energy and some habits that I just couldn’t get him to break - jumping up, mouthiness (is that a word? 🤷‍♀️), bullying his big sister… I found Key2K9 online when I finally decided to look for a behavioralist and I could not have asked for a better experience! I contacted Ali and had an initial call, followed by our phone consultation a week later (be prepared to take lots of notes!) and then our first of 8 sessions the following week. We got straight to work and with Ali’s clear directions and follow through on our homework Fozzie was a dream by lesson 7. I could feel my frustrations lessening and I know Fozzie could too. Just ask about those lefthand turns - they are great for frustrated dog moms and dads. 😂 Honestly, Ali’s kind yet firm manner was exactly what we needed and I would recommend Key2K9 to anyone!

Ali is simply amazing and I highly recommend her to anyone in search of a dog trainer! Earlier this year she helped my family and I train both our 4 month old rescue pup and our 6 year old Yorkie with just 8 sessions at a great price! Our puppy is now 10 months and is the most amazing-obedient dog. Calling her the first day I got him was the best choice I have ever made. Not only is she a great trainer, she is professional and diligently follows all pandemic guidelines including mask compliance and symptom assessments.

Unfortunately there were extremely expensive. Way too expensive for me anyway so I'm having to put my dog to sleep because I cannot find a pitbull lover or training camp that will take him because he doesn't like people and he got in a fight with my one of my dogs, the dog is okay but it's the point that he got in a fight with it. But he is the most perfect dog for me and my family. I wish so much that he could understand that other people are not a threat and I don't know how to get him to understand that so now I'm at a loss. I have to sacrifice the life of such a perfect dog because I can't find anyone willing to help me at all affordable price. 😭😭😭😭😭 He's so precious

We took our 2-year-old Goldendoodle, Tito, to Ali for both virtual and 1 in person session. We saw a big difference in our pup! While we noticed a big improvement, the most telling was a friend that hadn’t seen Tito in a few weeks said that it was like a switch with how much better behaved and calmer he was. The virtual sessions were great and helped us work with him within our space and what we have, with Ali watching, demonstrating, and teaching from video. Since we spend more time at home during this COVID time, we have more time to work with him, so the virtual option was perfect. He was a bit more confident in our home, so we were able to go through more things in each session since he typically picked up on them more quickly in the comfort of his home. The in-person session was also great and helped with building his confidence and dealing with distractions of new smells and a new environment. Ali helps with all our questions about various things we want to work with him on and has been a huge help. Even if we just had the virtual sessions only, it was completely worth it from everything we learned and Tito learned. Thanks Ali!

Ali is simply wonderful. Her knowledge and love for dogs is amazing to see!!! We reached out to Ali when we adopted a 2yr old German Shepherd, Stella. Stella was not confident in herself, wouldn’t play with any toys and would be hesitant about foods. We never needed training before but Stella gave us a run for our money with her behaviors. Ali helped us be more educated in German Shepherds along with training tips, treats, equipment and simply reminding us to be patient. Due to the pandemic we were forced to do virtual trainings and it worked beautifully for us! Stella is now engaged and loves to work for her treats!!! Thank you again, Ali!
