KIBA K9s | World-Class Dog Training

Kirubell was such a huge help for us. We adopted Sage when he was around 1, and didn’t know much about his history. He is play motivated and doesn’t respond to treats, especially outside, and it was difficult to find someone who would work with him under those circumstances/conditions. Kirubell immediately said no problem- let’s replace the food reward with play. We were able to make such great strides with Sage after- whether it be recall, him feeling safe with us outside the house, or basic obedience. Kirubell was so knowledgeable and patient with Sage to work with him to be more confident and comfortable in his surroundings. Cannot recommend Kirubell enough!

We have worked with both Kiba and Tiffany over the last few months for our now 7-month old Rottie mix puppy Nash and we’re incredibly grateful to have found them. Nash is the sweetest dog, but he has a strong personality and can be stubborn at times. With a baby on the way this Fall, we knew we wanted to establish good habits with Nash right from the start and Kiba and Tiff have been great in terms of using a comfortable but firm approach in Nash's training. We’ve worked with Kiba through private sessions and with Tiffany for enrichment boarding when we traveled for a week and have seen such positive progress. We often receive compliments from family, friends, and even strangers about how well-behaved Nash is, especially for his age. Kiba and Tiff have helped us with nearly everything -- leash training, car ride etiquette, resolving mild food guarding when Nash was first adopted, handling nail clipping and paw touching, games like fetch and tug of war, the list goes on. It's also really nice that if we have a quick question outside of a training session we can shoot Kiba a text and he'll get back to us with a suggestion or solution promptly so we can address quickly. We’re very grateful to have found such dedicated and skilled trainers in Kiba and Tiffany who clearly care for Nash and it's obvious he enjoys being around them too. It's so sweet seeing Nash's excitement when Kiba arrives for training sessions and we love knowing that he is in good hands. Kiba and Tiffany have been such a blessing to our family. Jimmy is our 80lb other “child” that has become infinitely more balanced while learning new vocabulary and behaviors from Kiba and his team. (Kiba is a great communicator that helps educate humans as much as dogs). We started with the board and train offering and followed up with private sessions. We have no hesitation leaving Jimmy with Kiba whenever a situation presents itself . Having tried many other people via apps, etc., we now know a true animal PROFESSIONAL. Highly recommended!

After some private lessons and a 6-week board and train with Tiff and Kiba, my rescue dog Maeve has become the best version of herself! I trust Tiff and Kiba completely (and so does Maeve) and feel so much better knowing that they are a continued resource for us. I tried a handful of trainers in the city over the past year, and would have saved myself lots of stress and money if I had worked with KIBA K9s from the start. Tiff and Kiba are wonderful people who know so much and are gifted at teaching it to both humans and dogs. Thank you!!
