Tommy is the BEST! Our whole family loves him! Tommy is a very gifted trainer who obviously enjoys training dogs (and their owners)! His training has given us the confidence to take our puppy with us everywhere we go and know he will behave. Our goal was to have our dog trained to be obedient off leash and because of Tommy, we have accomplished it! Blaze loves Tommy and you can tell by the first picture, Tommy loves Blaze! We are so grateful we chose Knoxville K9 Academy for our puppy’s training.

Our dog, Moose, just completed both the Basic and Advanced Class packages at Knoxville K9 Academy, and we couldn’t be happier with the results! Our goal was to be able to have full confidence taking Moose out and about (and on vacations!), and have a well behaved pup that could also be off leash. From the first introduction Tommy made us feel completely comfortable! He asked us about our goals, explained his approach to training and answered all of our questions. Each class he took the time to explain what we would be working on, and was open to questions when we had them. He helped build confidence in Moose, but also in my family and I as handlers! Tommy is an absolute professional, and not only knows dogs, but how to clearly communicate with their owners! We highly recommend investing in training at Knoxville K9 Academy to build a great relationship with your dog!

We have a little corgi who just turned a year old, but after getting spayed she went into a frenzy as an aggressive doggo. Tommy really helped us a lot! We learned a few ways to manage our corgi baby, and tho she still has some wild behavior, we have a lot of tools and skills now to help us handle it better. May be revisiting training in the future if we don't see more improvement after a while (she's a very tempermental pup lol), but there was a lot of improvement from the classes Tommy provided. Really helped us learn a lot of her cues and how to respond to her behavior. Also was super helpful and accommodating for changing keywords to ones we preferred, helping us find new dog training leashes/collars/muzzles, aiding us in working through specific triggers in our dog. Tommy will definitely help you out if you're struggling with your dog amd teach you skills to try and improve it along with time. We've seen a change in response for both from our dog so it's just seeing what works best for your pet. All in all, we are living better with our dog because of Tommy's help.

Tommy is an exceptional dog trainer! We took our standard poodle, Jolene, to him for basic obedience training, and we were so impressed with the results that we went back for more advanced training. Tommy has a fantastic training style that our dog really responded to. Jolene was quick to pick up his lessons and seemed to genuinely enjoy the training sessions. Tommy's expertise and patience made the whole experience enjoyable for both us and our furry friend. We highly recommend Tommy to anyone looking for a skilled and caring dog trainer!
