Words cannot begin to explain how wonderful working with Tommy was! We brought our (almost) 3 year old miniature Dachshund, Piper, to work with Tommy after some concerns we had with her confidence and socialization with other humans and dogs! Tommy was INCREDIBLE to work with and really taught my husband and I both so much about how to best communicate with Piper in way that is more effective for everyone! We truly couldn’t be happier with the experience with Knoxville K9 Academy! If you’re considering training for your dog—no matter their age—we highly recommend! It has been one of the best investments we've made!

Tommy has been knowledgeable and patient with us and our pup Tucker. He is aways available to answer our questions or concerns and we can now have Tucker out with us anywhere and we are working towards off leash. Recommend Tommy to anyone needing help with their furbaby no matter the issue. Thanks Tommy

Having a well trained dog that can behave on and off leash has been the best experience. Tommy is great at teaching both dogs and humans and his training style is straightforward. I’m amazed at how much progress was made in such a short time especially with a somewhat stubborn breed. I highly recommend Knoxville K9 Academy.

Tommy at Knoxville K9 Academy is an exceptional trainer who truly meets both dogs and owners where they are. I never once felt judged, even when our girls came with challenges. Working with Tommy has genuinely changed our lives, and we couldn’t recommend him more highly. When we first brought our rescue dog Harper to Tommy, she was extremely fearful and antisocial due to her past. She was so scared of people that she would try to run away when anyone approached, and we were literally carrying her everywhere because we were afraid of losing her. By the end of our sessions, Harper was going to restaurants and visiting parks regularly — a complete transformation from where she started. After seeing such incredible progress, we enrolled our Bluetick, Pearl, in training as well. Pearl pulled terribly on the leash and was difficult to walk, but after working with Tommy, she now walks calmly, confidently, and responds to commands beautifully. Tommy has a true gift when working with all types of dogs. He has helped our family so much, and we are forever grateful!
