Kodiak K9 Training

We were nervous about sending our 5 lb Chihuahua, Remi, to a trainer. 🐶 Being so small, we were worried about how he would be handled and if the process would be overwhelming for him. Megan completely put our minds at ease. She sent daily updates so we always knew how Remi was doing, and it was clear from the start how kind, patient, and knowledgeable she is. She truly took the time to understand him and work with his personality. Remi came back a complete gentleman. He no longer growls at kids and has learned to respect humans and boundaries in a way we struggled to teach on our own. The at-home training and drop-off session was incredibly informative and never felt rushed. Megan made sure we understood everything so we could continue reinforcing the training at home. What really stands out is that she still answers questions even after the training is over. It’s obvious she genuinely cares and loved Remi like he was her own during the two weeks he was with her. Hands down the best money we’ve spent. If you’re nervous about sending your dog to training, Megan is the person you want. 🐾✨

GREAT experience with Kodiak K9! Our trainer Audrey was knowledgeable, experienced, and took excellent care of our puppy! Our 7 month old labradoodle came home calm, happy, and SO well behaved. I was nervous to send him, thinking it might be too harsh for him but that couldn't be further from the truth. He's calmer and happier now that he knows what he's supposed to do and it was clear from the frequent video updates that he was being cared for just like at home. ❤️

We can’t recommend trainer Audrey highly enough. Our family used a 3 week train and board program for our energetic Bernedoodle puppy. Not only did she help transform our puppy’s behavior with clear, effective training techniques, but she also taught US how to better understand and communicate with our dog. What really stood out was her ability to explain the “why” behind everything—how dogs think, how they learn, and how small changes in our approach could make big differences. She was patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about both our puppy’s progress and our confidence as dog owners. Thanks to her guidance, our puppy is more well-behaved, responsive, and happy—and we feel so much more equipped as owners. We received several videos and updates while our puppy was in her care. If you’re looking for someone who goes beyond basic training and truly helps you build a strong bond with your dog, we highly recommend Audrey.

I can’t recommend Kodak K9 and Micah highly enough. Lucy came to her with a few challenges; leash pulling, leash biting, and slight aggression towards other dogs. But she’s such a great dog otherwise, so I knew she just needed the right training. Two weeks later, I got a completely different dog back. She walks beautifully now with no pulling, and I honestly wish I did it sooner. I appreciate how communicative Micah was throughout the entire process; constant pictures, updates, and progress reports so I could see exactly what was happening. Beyond the training itself, Micah socialized Lucy not only with her own dog but also her other animals, which was huge for helping Lucy work through her dog aggression. Micah also took the time to teach me how to properly use the e-collar so I could continue Lucy’s training effectively at home. Even at three years old, Lucy adapted beautifully to the new training, and she genuinely seems to enjoy our daily fifteen-minute practice sessions. It’s made walks so much more enjoyable for both of us. If your dog needs any training, this is the place to go.
