I highly recommend sending your fur children to Christa she is so very knowledgeable about how to handle and educate you every step of the way! I had sent my boy Onyx to her 4wk board a training program due to some fear reactive issues. I can’t express how it has helped our family to give him more out of life and to enjoy more adventures out in social settings and just enjoying being in the car! As a home-based dog boarding provider, I was constantly chasing tails (pun intended!). My dream of creating a calm, happy haven for pups was hampered by my own two furry challenges: Pito, the escape-artist Dalmatian, and Diamond, my leash-escaper Heeler with social anxiety. We even went to a dog pool event with SO MANY people and dogs and she ignored everyone and wasn't scared at all. No more baring her teeth in fear of people when leashed! But Christa's impact goes beyond my own dogs. I've absorbed her knowledge, using it to create a calmer, happier environment for all the pups who come through my daycare. Their training journey with me is smoother, their anxiety reduced, and their overall enjoyment skyrockets. Christa is an amazing dog trainer. Our English bulldog was incredibly stubborn and we were worried some of his behaviors were unable to be remedied- but Christa completely 180ed our life. Our English bulldog used to have dog aggression, excessive barking at the TV, and resource guarding issues- now he is literally an angel. He listens so well. Christa gave us, the owners, the tools we needed to maintain progress. Life is so much better after dog training with Koena K9. We recently adopted a second and look forward to training her with Christa now that she has returned. It truly was the best money we ever spent.

Koena K9 training has been a total game changer for us. Our dog was struggling with anxiety, major issues pulling on the leash, and poor recall. Christi changed all that and more. Can your fur baby sit at Edgewater Park on a beautiful day and watch all the dogs stroll past? Mine sure couldn’t before Keona K9 Board&Train. She can walk off leash, maintain a bed-stay for over an hour, comes when called now. She is an exuberant 3yo mini goldendoodle who thinks every dog is her friend. She now knows there’s a time and a place to meet them, and it’s not on our walks. She knows not to jump on guests, even though she really wants to. Christa delivered exactly what we needed to keep us and our girl safe and happy. Money well spent!
