Kyser K9 Dog Training

We had a fantastic experience with Kyser K9! Shelby was incredibly flexible with scheduling, which made things so much easier with our busy lives. One of the things we really appreciated was that she offered to meet us at our home for an initial assessment of our dog. She was always willing to go above and beyond, even offering additional training when needed to make sure our dog was progressing well. Throughout the entire process, she kept us updated with regular photos and videos, which was so reassuring and helpful to see the improvement along the way. Highly recommend her services - professional, communicative, and truly dedicated to helping both dogs and their owners succeed!

We brought our Black Lab Bucky to Shelby at Kyser K-9 Training. We learned about Kyser K-9 Training from two of our neighbors that highly recommended her. My wife and I were overjoyed at the results. We chose to have Bucky trained at her facility for a 10 day stay. Bucky had begun to be a handful for us as he would not behave even with the simplistic tasks; from putting his leash on, only to go on a strenuous walk, stopping him from jumping up on people and running around grabbing things for attention. Growing up from a child-till this very day, I always had a dog or two living with me and am very familiar with teaching dogs the basics. Upon my arrival picking up Bucky, he wouldn’t run to me until Shelby allowed him to. On one hand I was excited about picking him up and when he didn’t come running, I was both happy to see his results and how disciplined he was but honestly a little hurt because didn’t immediately come running to me lol. I highly recommend Kyser K-9 Training to everyone one who is in need of teaching their dog discipline. We couldn’t be happier with our experience! Our 6-month-old Labrador, Bucky, just returned from a 10-night board and train, and the results have been amazing. He came home with such a strong foundation—he listens so well now, and the constant jumping we struggled with is completely under control. The trainer was professional, kind, and truly understood Bucky’s personality and needs. We’re so grateful for the care and structure he received while away. It’s clear he learned a lot and enjoyed the experience. Highly recommend to anyone looking to build great behavior early on!

My Viszla (Otto) needs to be a well trained working dog. We have a property with multiple lakes and attractions which means he’s dealing with strangers/customers too. Shelby helped instill the right fundamentals in training him, but goes further to train you, so that you can work with your bff at a high level. You go to KyserK9 for how they train your pup, but you stay for the relationship you build with your best friend. 11/10
