Jeff of Lakeshore K9 is outstanding! We have been dog owners for 38 years. We have always expected our dogs to have manners and to be obedient. Inspite of our best efforts, we always had obedience issues that we didn't know how to fix. So with this lab puppy we researched trainers and selected Jeff. Jeff is professional, precise, personable and patient. His instruction is easy to understand with rationale and examples. He provides you with the best tools and equipment. His expert knowledge is readily apparent. He is capable of "on the spot" assessment of the dog and handler and provides a quick solution to problems. Our pup was attacked twice by barking out of control dogs. She was TERRIFIED of a barking dog even if not visible. With Jeff's help she is now able to walk past a barking dog with only a sideways glance. He also quickly solved her constant ground sniffing while walking on lead. He instills the confidence that you need to be successful by SHOWING you that you are capable. He teaches you how to make training FUN! We are now enjoying our walks, navigating high distraction situations,receiving compliments on our well behaved puppy, enjoy training (our pup does too!!)and are confident handlers who know we will accomplish all of our obedience goals. My husband and I contacted Jeff when all our attempts to train our German Shepherd were failing. At a very early age our dog showed signs of dog/people aggression & over time this habit became severely worse. Jeff showed us how to break the aggression and gave us control again. He did this all while having fun and letting our dog be a dog! We have nothing but good things to say about Jeff and his business!
