Lakeshore K9 Training

I found Lakeshore K9 Training by a friend that highly recommended his training. Including reading all the great reviews sold me to contact him and set up training. Even though my dog went through a basic training prior to Lakeshore K9 Training. I knew he still needed additional training! He knew the commands but was stubborn and only listening when he wanted to listen. Plus with him being a large breed (105+lbs), I needed better control and obedience from him. I have to admit I was hesitant at first but turned out to be 100% satisfied with just the first training! It makes senses when Jeff indicated that his training does not go in order but will come together at the end. It did and we are truly happy with the outcome! In addition, Jeff was flexible on schedules and open for questions outside of training. Because of the amazing training tools and following the training (practice). I’m now able to walk my dog around other dogs without any reluctance that he’ll bark or lunge at another dog. He keeps calm and walks right by them. We are now able to take walks to enjoy, instead of being pulled on the leash! We continue to work on the tools given to us and feeling more confident each day! Plus our dog gets excited when training (which is also keeping him busy and givening exercise) and the reward that comes afterwards. Which the reward for us is getting a great trained dog that listens!!!! Jeff is an amazing canine trainer. He made the training fun and interesting for both owner and dog!! Jeff has a talent for this line of work! He doesn’t just train the dog but the owner as well. Explaining why each step is being done with the tools being given. When we met Jeff were at the end of our rope dealing with a very dominant working line German Shepherd. We are happy to say that a few months later, our dog has become an obedience rockstar. Everyone wants a dog who listens to what they say, and through Jeff’s training, that’s what you get. Jeff makes training fun for the dog and it’s handler, and that makes all the difference. Our dog loves training, he gets beside himself with excitement when he knows we are about to work, because it’s fun for him (and it’s fun for us too). Jeff has a passion for training dogs, and it’s obvious when you work with him. We feel blessed that we found Jeff.

Jeff is an incredible trainer. We came to him with a very driven, dominant working puppy that we had no control over. She was stubborn, independent and dog aggressive. She would bark at everything that walked. After a few sessions with Jeff and the right tools, we gained so much confidence that we feel comfortable taking her everywhere without any worries about how she’ll react. She also yanked us whenever we walked. She now ignores dogs on leash, and walks right next to us. Jeff’s 25 years of experience as a professional K9 officer provide tons of tools and advice for any type of dog & level of dog owner. Not only that, but every training session was a blast!
