I cannot rave more about Lapdog H2O and the owner, Jill. Sadly, our dog, developed arthritis, hip dysplasia (both hips) and an elbow joint disease in at least one of her front legs before she was even 2yo. The vets recommend pills and lowered activity (real easy with a puppy, right?) while you wait and see how long until they're a candidate for extremely expensive joint replacement surgeries. When I found LapdogH2O I almost didn't call - I assumed we could never afford a service like this. But I'm so glad I called. Sable has been swimming weekly for 2yrs now. Very quickly she gained nearly 5lbs of muscle mass and we could see how much stronger her rear legs were. This has provided her a lot of extra stability in her hips helping with her mobility and decreased how accident prone she is due to instability. It has not only made things better but has prevented her problem from getting worse. This has been life changing for her. And to top it off - Sable LOVES her swim sessions!

We brought our 17 year old dog in for therapy. The owner raved about how fast we would see a positive change in her. After one session, she had improved. We were so happy. We have called and left messages and sent email after email about trying to get another appointment. The RESPONSE was always the same, no available times. We told her how our dog was getting worse and that putting her down was the next step. We told her how desperate we were to get our dog in for more treatments. Again, no help, no open times available. We can not bare to watch our Zoe suffer any longer. On Monday, we will be forced to send Zoe to the Rainbow Bridge. Thanks Jill.

Our 8 month old puppy was very nervous but Jill and John were very caring in calming him down. Toward the end of his first session, our puppy was swimming with confidence.

Our dog, "Lucky", has benefitted greatly from Jill and her outstanding staff. His anxiety around other dogs has significantly decreased, and after having major surgery on one of his legs, this therapy has helped him immensely. Our dog is 11 years old, and these days he has a lot more energy than dogs half his age. I would highly recommend this therapy for dogs of ANY age. Many health professionals say that swimming is the best exercise one can do, as it is very low impact on the joints, muscles, and bones. For dogs, this is no exception. Jill is extremely gifted at not just administering this form of K-9 therapy, but also as someone who can connect and make your pet feel comfortable and at ease.

My Riley had a great time and it is clear that Ms. Jill loves what she does.
