do you have any recomendations for trainers who can help w bigger dogs from the shelter? trying to get them leash trained and basic manners so they can get adopted. some of them have been there too long! Please if you know of any
Hello, thank you for the message. We train all sizes. At this time we don’t have the personnel to train pro bono to help dogs get adopted. With that said we donate and support the Delaware Humane Society on a monthly basis.
It is a goal of our company to help train dogs in the shelters to help get adopted but we are just not there yet. Thanks again for reaching out and we wish you all the best!

Recently a german shepard was added to our home. She is 4 years old and great with people. She has attacked one of our other dogs unprovoked 3 times. Will Training get her to stop? The other dog is much smaller and I don't want her hurt.

Highly recommend boarding your dog with Lead the Way!! Josh is a great communicator and can almost always make space for my high energy dog and also posts lots of pictures so I get photo updates every day! My dog Buck loves going there and gets so excited when we tell him he’s going there which really just says it all. I know he is being taken care of properly since they also do formal training there as well so I am never nervous about leaving him. The space is also very clean and inviting. This is my go to boarder- they are great!

Excellent all the way around. We've taken our pup there for her initial 2 week training, and continue to board her there for extended trips (she loves it). The staff is top-notch and does an amazing job with the pups!

Socks gets very excited in the mornings when she gets in the car and she realizes she is going to Lead the Way.That tail really starts wagging. 😊 She just loves hanging out with her friends at Doggie care. Not really wanting to help my dog, guess they aren’t equipped with that much knowledge. Too bad, my dog will be great without them! This location is in Delaware, Ohio and we talked to Josh but he never got back to us. He also said my dog would possible need 3 weeks and that would be very expensive. So it would be advantageous to not do it in 2 weeks since the third week would be almost the price of the two (this is without evaluating my rescue dog at all). We indicated we still wanted the paperwork to get started . . . we never received a thing. Called another dog trainer in Columbus and they got back to me that day and absolutely had no problem accepting her. I'm glad Josh didn't get back to us, just know up front that reactive dogs aren't something they deal with.
