Hi, my name is Kris, and I am a professional dog trainer with a passion for unlocking the true desire each dog has for pleasing their owner. As an active duty soldier, I saw first hand how far a well trained dog will go to demonstrate their loyalty. Your dog wants that relationship with you too and with the right training goals and methods, you and your dog can know a disciplined and fulfilling bond. My training philosophy is based on a balanced approach that combines positive reinforcement techniques with fair and humane corrections. I can’t recommend Legion K9 enough! We chose the day training option and it was absolutely perfect—no kennels, just hands-on, loving training with real-world experiences like field trips to practice in public settings. My dog Gus was so excited every time I dropped him off, which gave me total peace of mind knowing he was being well cared for and genuinely enjoying himself. Before training, walks were miserable for both of us—I relied on a nose lead just to get through them. Now, I can take Gus anywhere. He walks calmly by my side, never pulls, and will sit and stay exactly where I leave him. The transformation has been incredible. This was truly an investment in Gus’s quality of life—and mine too. Because of this training, I get to enjoy all the years ahead with a dog I can take anywhere, stress-free. Thank you for helping Gus live his best life!

I had an excellent experience working with Kris. I have an older German Shepherd dog with reactivity issues that has been through two intensive rounds of training earlier in his life. While the previous training helped, I wanted to be able to keep him out when guests come over. Kris has given me the tools to make this possible. I really appreciate his calm way of working with dogs and the sessions are very straightforward and easy to put into practice. I am very happy, and actually quite surprised at how well my dog has done. I highly recommend Kris. He is one of the best trainers I have worked with.
I have two crazy dogs. And Kris calmed them down significantly. They have been to other trainers in another state that were completely different. Kris focuses on every day life. I would definitely recommend his company.
