I have over 30 years experience with dog ownership and training. I got interested in dog training in1972. I have worked with and trained protection dogs, service dogs and family dogs. All of my training is done at my private training studio located behind my home in Lexington South Carolina .I only allow one dog in my training program at a time so that I make sure I give you and your dog the best training results possible.

John is amazing! I can’t believe how much better our (huge) puppy is after a week with John. His potty training and leash walks have greatly improved. When the dog tries to play too rough with the children, I know just what to say/do. We will be working with our dog for about 2 months and then we will send him BACK to John for extra training. John and Darla (his pitbull) train dogs one on one and take them places for socialization. Plus, I got daily updates on my dog’s progress. I can’t say enough good things about this business!

Luna was brought home on Monday after being trained by The Dog Captain, it was so amazing to see her listening, not jumping on people, she has learned the commands, SIT, PLACE, STAY etc…. Luna was brought home on Monday after being trained by The Dog Captain, it was so amazing to see her listening, not jumping on people, she has learned the commands, SIT, PLACE, STAY etc…. She has made me fall more than once, (she’s heavy) NOW, I’m able to walk her with no pulling and sometimes without a leash, HOW AMAZING!! I’m so happy!! She was picked up on Wednesday, returned on Monday! What an amazing turn around. With hard work and dedication from The Dog Captian, thank you so much for taking the time to help us with Luna!
