Lisa's Nosy Puppers Dog Training

I can't say enough good things about Lisa! When we adopted our husky rescue, we quickly realized that he had some serious behavior issues that we didn't know how to address. We were at our wits' end and considering rehoming him, until we found Lisa. From the very first class, she put us at ease and gave us the tools we needed to work with our dog. Over the course of four progressive training programs, Lisa helped us train our dog and improve his behavior in ways we never thought possible. Her approach is firm but gentle, and she clearly knows what she's doing. Thanks to Lisa, we are now much more confident and educated dog owners, and our dog is a completely different animal. He's well-behaved, obedient, and a joy to be around. We're are now gearing up to take the good canine citizen test! I have no doubt that our pup will pass with flying colors. I would recommend Lisa to anyone looking for a dog trainer - she's simply the best!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED...I started in the puppy class with Lisa with my 5 month old American Bully. This dog is unlike any other that I have ever had, very headstong and dog reactive and myself not confident at all. I was able to barely make it through puppy class as I was very tense the entire time and I knew we both needed much more training. On the first day of Intermediate class, I was so overwhelmed that I was ready to quit as soon as I walked in the door and broke into tears. Lisa realized how over my head I was and she could see potential in my guy and really took a lot of her time with us, she even called and checked in with me after class and really talked me off a ledge. Lisa offered us private classes that I could do take with just us, so that I could get caught up on what we couldn't catch in class (for a very affordable price). I am happy to report that we have just graduated from the Intermediate class and are moving on to Advanced training. I wish we could stay with Lisa forever! I am so much more relaxed and confident and my boy is getting there too.

I took my German Shepherd puppy to train with Lisa in her group class last year. I was impressed by her approach to beginning obedience sessions. My reason was not only to train my young dog, but to also socialize her around other puppies and strangers. Given how challenging it’s been with the pandemic, her class was perfect for basic obedience training. Although my puppy was fearful and somewhat reactive, Lisa was gentle yet consistent with her lessons. Her feedback was honest and direct. We were also given lessons to practice at home. From Lisa’s training I was able to continue in other obedience classes and sports with confidence as my dog matured. I would highly recommend Lisa for training classes!
